Kiddos

Yesterday Bailey went to the Nature and Science Museum with her class for a field trip. When I picked her up from school she had a look on her face like something was wrong. I asked if she was okay and she said yes but that she had to tell me about this field trip.

She goes on to tell me that they went to an area that talked about the sun and it had "a thing that showed you what you would look like when you are old and have been in the sun". She did not like this. She said she turned it up and she wanted to stop and then her friend's Mom turned it up until she was 80 years old. She was really upset. I asked her what she looked like and she said she had long hair and wrinkles all over her face. I asked her if she had a brown face and she said no. This child was traumatized! I don't know if she will forget this for a long time.

Kam still isn't 100% but is better. He is happier since he doesn't have to take the "yucky" medicine. He still is on meds but I guess it doesn't taste as bad as the last one. He is doing really well with telling me when he potties and when he needs to go. We aren't always at the bathroom fast enough but working on it. He also used the potty all day yesterday at school. He gets stamps for this!

I have also decided that I cannot have chocolate out in view. Kam loves it more than I think Bailey does. He wants it all the time. He asked for it for breakfast today and was crying when I wouldn't give him any. Then he gets his sweet face and says "1 more, please". Well it would be his first but he holds up 1 finger and says 1 more. He is too cute! But I didn't give in and when this batch of kisses is gone, there won't be any to replace them!

Karson did okay last night off his oxygen. I moved the sensor from his foot to his big toe. I didn't want it on his toe because last time the tape caused red marks on his toe but I had to do it to see how the readings were. Every time I checked he was at 89/90 so I didn't put the oxygen on him. I wanted Dr. G to get an idea of what he was doing without it. He also slept better for the most part. Other than being up from 1-2 am this morning. He only wanted 3 ounces so after that I told him it was bed time and I walked away. He finally went back to sleep @ 2. Then up at 5:30 and then up at 7. It was a better night than I have been having. Up a few times with him and then once with Kam.

Today is another busy day for us. I am not sure how people have 6/7/10 kids. I couldn't do it. Up at 6:30 with Kam, then 7 with Karson and Bailey. Treatments for Karson, clothes for Bailey and me, change a Diego for Kam and down the stairs for breakfast. Bailey eats but wants to watch TV, Kam wants chocolate and Karson is happy in his toy. Make a lunch, get some water for myself in the hopes of making it to the gym (didn't workout), Suay arrives @ 8, drop Bailey off @ 8:15, talk to my Mom, meeting @ 9 for Dolls for Daughters, volunteer @ 10:15 in the library at Stanley British Primary school and then home @ 12.

Boys are sleeping now.. Getting some computer work done. Wondering when the home health care company will show up with the right oxygen tank, when the maids will come - my house looks like a bomb went off, wishing I could catch a 30 minute nap but not today. Also wishing I could do an hour workout at the gym..

The boys will be up before I know it and it will be a race for the rest of the night. Kam to school, get Bailey from school and ready for dance. Bailey at dance @ 4:15, get Kam from school @ 4:30, feed him, back to dance, Kam dances for 30 minutes and then time for Bailey to be done and home @ 6:30.

Hope bed time comes at 8 tonight..
