Kam and Kars

This morning after getting all the kiddos up and out the door by 8, I took the boys to the Cherry Creek Mall play area. That is after I dropped Sissy Bear aka Bailey off at school. When I tell Kam we are going to play he says "Mall?" It is too cute.

I like getting to the play area early because there are hardly any kids there and I don't have to worry about my kids being plowed down by a big kid. Plus Kam loves going and it gets us out of the house.

Kam loves the donuts from Starbucks so he had his breakfast in between running and jumping on the food. He tried to "surf" on the bacon several times and the boys rode the sausage train. Kars also liked getting out and looking around at the food. He did some time with the strawberry and the banana slices and then was ready for his nap.

I did feel a little out of place being the only Mommy there. The other kids that were at the play area were there with their Nannys. Needless to say, Nannys don't want to chit chat with Mommys. Oh well, Kam and I had a great time running around until about 10. This gave him an hour and a half of play time and then we were on the search from some socks for Bailey and Kam.

After getting socks for the kids and Kam some rain boots, I was on the hunt for some smaller hair clips that will actually keep my thick hair in place. We visited Claire's where I think I found some clips that will work. The funny part of that visit was the fact that Kam decided he needed a clip in his hair. So here is my blonde hair, blue eyed boy with a brown hair clip in. He thought he was cool.

Time to head home and put the boys down for a nap and wait for a call from Karson's lung dr. She should have the results from his room air challenges and I need to talk to her about the cough he has started. I really thought I would luck out this week and have one visit (Monday) to the dr and then two visits to the Target Pharmacy. Not so sure that will be the case. I think Kars will be at the dr tomorrow just to make sure he just has a cough. The cough means that we add his other inhaler 4 times a day.

Well it is noon and the boys are fast asleep. Kars after some rocking, Kam after his Diego video and some milk. I am ready for some lunch and a workout since I haven't been able to workout for two days. This makes me want to workout for 2 hours. But I know an hour is all I can get it.

Bailey has a play date after school and then will be home to see Grandma. Grandma watches the boys on Thursday afternoons. It is their time. I love that my Mom is so close that she has this bond with my kids. Some of my happiest memories growing up are visiting my grandparents. Going out to the land to see Grandma and Pa or going up a few streets to see Grandma Cleo and Grandpa Mac. I was so very blessed to have loving grandparents that always showed me love. How I miss them and how blessed I am that my Grandma is still her and is GG to my kids. Family is wonderful.

Daddy will be home from NYC tonight as well. Yeah for me. He can put the kiddos to bed and I can relax in a bubble bath with some wine. Sounds good but don't know if will really work out.
